Gregory Volk

Is a writer, critic, freelance curator, and educator based in New York City. He is a regular contributor to Art in America and has been published in journals such as Parkett and Sculpture. Volk has contributed to several exhibition catalogs with essays on Joan Jonas, Bruce Nauman, Ayse Erkmen, and Sanford Biggers. During his visit to RISD Glass, Volk presented onrecent curatorial projects and introduced the students to the work of artists with whom he is currently working.
